Having a harmonious family and living happily with her small family, Latifah felt herself being tested after her husband died and she had to take care of both their ADHD son and her husband`s educational foundation. Arman, Latifah`s ex-lover, helps manage her husband`s foundation. This situation makes them more intimately close again, until finally Arman decides to propose to Latifah.
