Dharani, a coward from Veerlapalli, lives near Singareni coal mines. He has 12 close buddies, including Suri. They profit from rail coal theft. They hang out at Silk Bar, which Kanakaiah owned in 1994 and Shivanna bought in 1995 after defeating his step-brother Rajanna in the municipal elections. To improve their political mileage, Chinna Nambi offers a cricket competition with a cashier for the victorious team. That night, thugs killed Suri and three pals. Shocking Dharani. Dharani finds his buddies' killer. The film leads to an emotional climax.
